Roku Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Be Equipped Roku channel (the "Channel") provided by Wealth and Happy Future LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By selecting Accept & continue or using the Channel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, select Decline or press Back to leave the Channel.

These Terms apply specifically to the Roku channel. For the Be Equipped mobile and web apps, see the general Terms of Use.

1. What Be Equipped is

Be Equipped is a teaching-content reader. The Channel streams lessons and other media organized into catalogs and packs. We may publish our own first-party content, and the Channel may also display content supplied by independent churches, ministries, teachers, or other providers connected to your account.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You may browse sample content without an account. Where account features are offered, a Be Equipped account is an optional app-level account with us, through beequipped.io. It is separate from a content provider account, which is an account with an independent provider whose catalogs you connect. Creating or signing in to one does not create or sign you in to the other.

You may be offered separate choices to connect this Roku device to a Be Equipped account or to a content provider. Pairing with a provider gives the Channel access to that provider's authorized catalogs; it does not connect the device to a Be Equipped account. Likewise, connecting a Be Equipped account does not automatically connect a provider. You are responsible for activity under each account you use and for keeping each sign-in method and pairing code secure.

3. License to use the Channel

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Channel for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Channel itself, except as permitted by law or an applicable open-source license.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Channel, our services, or any provider's systems. You also may not use the Channel or connected services to access, share, or distribute material that is illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious.

5. Third-party providers and content

Independent providers are separate from Be Equipped and control their own accounts, catalogs, and content. Be Equipped is the platform / reader, not the provider of their content. We do not create, control, monitor, review, or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for it or for how a third-party provider handles your information. You connect to a provider and use its content at your own discretion and risk. A provider's own terms and privacy policy may also govern your relationship with that provider. Providers and authors retain ownership of their content.

6. Intellectual property

The Channel and the Be Equipped name and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Content available through the Channel is owned by its provider, author, or licensors. Access is a license to use that content through the Channel for its intended purpose, not permission to copy or redistribute it unless the content owner separately allows that.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Channel and related services handle information. The Channel stores some device-local settings, including your acceptance of these Terms. When you connect a Be Equipped account, we may handle the account, device, playback, and content-request information needed to operate that connection. When you connect a provider, that provider may handle the corresponding information needed to pair your TV, load its authorized content, and operate playback. A third-party provider's privacy policy governs information that provider handles.

8. Disclaimers

THE CHANNEL AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Channel will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content — especially third-party content — is accurate, complete, or appropriate for you.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Wealth and Happy Future LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR PROVIDERS.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Channel at any time. Disconnecting an account removes that account's session from this Roku device; it does not delete the account or disconnect a different account. Uninstalling the Channel removes the Channel and its device-local data.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may require you to accept a new version before continuing. The latest Roku Terms of Use are always available at beequipped.app/terms/roku.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
